May 11-14, we went to see the Grand Canyon! Good thing we know someone who lives over by Arizona and he was there to pick us up at the airport and drove us to the Red Rocks of Sedona and the amazing Grand Canyon! My birthday which is the 13th actually fell on the same day of Mother's Day, totally perfect to celebrate it at the Grand Canyon! The 1st day we spent it at Sedona which is half way thru the canyon. It was very hot in there but the views are worth seeing! Shops and restaurants were all over Sedona (good place to unwind) and the day after that was the canyon...so many spots to see the canyon in all different angles with buses for free who drives around the park. Truly an amazing experience and will always be a memorable bday and mother's day for me!!!
